ABOUT
The NRRI was established in 1998 as a registered non-profit making professional body to regulate the practice of reflexology in Ireland as a complementary therapy, through qualified registered members and accredited schools.
We are an organisation dedicated to providing Ireland with a register of professional Reflexologists and training centres. The NRRI is accredited as a professional regulatory body by Irish Life Health, VHI Healthcare, LAYA Health, Saturday Hospital Fund and LEVEL Health.
There are currently 8 accredited schools and over 700 registered active members.
OUR OBJECTIVES

Registrants are entitled to use the designatory letters MNRRI denoting Member(ship) of the National Register of Reflexologists (Ireland) and to use the title of ‘Registered Reflexologist’ on their professional letterheads, business cards, and promotional material.
A Certificate of Registration bearing the official Seal is issued to each registered member of the NRRI.
Inclusion on the Register is at the discretion of the Registrar from whom application forms can be obtained and to whom all applications and correspondence should be addressed.

OUR AIMS
• To compile and maintain a National Register and referral list of qualified Reflexologists.
• To establish the educational criteria necessary to qualify as a professional Reflexologist and maintain continual professional development.
• To compile and maintain a National Register of accredited Schools of Reflexology.
• To provide and enforce a Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct for the benefit of registered practitioners and their clients.
• To provide and maintain professional standards of excellence and competence.
• To provide up to date information on all aspects of Reflexology.
• To establish research facilities for Reflexology.
• To provide regular, informative eNewsletter.
• To facilitate Professional Indemnity and Public Liability insurance for members.
• To represent the interests of registered members at national, EU and worldwide levels.
• To disseminate accurate and up to date information on all aspects of Reflexology to the public, the media, and other interested groups and official bodies.
• To promote reflexology and support NRRI members via social media (facebook, instagram).
• To work towards recognition of reflexology as designated therapy as a registered lobbyist to the government and Department of Health.
NRRI CODE OF ETHICS AND PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT
Members of the National Register of Reflexologists (Ireland) are expected to observe all parts of this Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct at all times and to conduct themselves in such a manner as to uphold and maintain the highest professional standards of Reflexology.
This Code governs the attitude and behaviour of the reflexologist towards clients, the general public, and fellow reflexologists, and will also form the basis for discussion and discipline in the event of any complaint against a member.
OUR TEAM
In 2017 NRRI has transformed into DAC Ltd (Designated Activity Company Limited). The BOARD OF DIRECTORS is constantly working together with NRRI Registrar and NRRI Advisory Council (principals of accredited schools) on regulation and recognition of reflexology in Ireland.
