About the Course:

The Advanced Anatomy & Physiology of the Nervous System workshop is intended to enhance the basic knowledge acquired whilst studying for the Diploma in Reflexology, and to encourage confidence in the application of your skills whilst offering treatments to your clients.
The workshop is suitable for all qualified reflexologists regardless of experience and length of service, including those who have recently qualified, continuing practitioners and those who have taken a break from practice and wish to refresh their knowledge and learn extra skills and applications.

Highlights:
• Reviewing the basic syllabus of the nervous system required for attaining qualification.
• Study the details of the cranial and spinal nerves, and their specific functions.
• Practical work using some advanced techniques of working the spinal nerves for a variety of symptoms.
• Joining the dots: the connections between the nervous system and all the other body systems and applying this to the reflexology treatment.
• The importance of researching diagnosed conditions.

About the presenter:
Enid O'Leary is a qualified reflexologist of nearly 30 years and has been teaching reflexology at various levels for 25 years, including the Diploma of Reflexology recognised by the NRRI.
She originally trained in England and was qualified by the Association of Reflexologists, to whom she is still a member. Since moving to Ireland, she has been a member of the NRRI since 2005 and gained accreditation for her own School of Reflexology in 2014. More recently, Enid has been actively serving as an Education Officer with the NRRI, whose purpose is to maintain the high standards of learning for its members.
